Khalnayak Returns

Sanjay Dutt announced “Khalnayak Returns” a sequel to his 1993 cult classic KHALNAYAK on April 25, 2026.Sanjay Dutt as a notorious criminal in a villan role was very much appreciated back then. The Teaser that was unveiled on Friday showed Sanjay Dutt in a very rugged look. He Said the idea of Khalnayak returns came on his mind when he was serving his terms in Yerwada Jail. Out of Many characters he played, Ballu Balaram is considered as a landmark character in Dutt’s career. Ballu Balram in KHALNAYAK was the first anti- hero character played by Sanjay Dutt. The Song “Nayak Nahi Khalanayak Hu main” was almost an anthem. While unveiling the teaser, Actor Dutt praised Mr. Subash Ghai and said that the film would not be possible without him. While sharing his views Subhash Ghai put some light on the real reason behind not directing the sequel. He revealed he does not want to remake his own film and said that he will work on the film as creative producer. The announcement of “KHALNAYAK RETURNS” has generated massive excitement among audiences, it is yet to see will Sanjay Dutt be able to capture the charisma of the Character same as it was back in the 90s.
